The Biome Balancing Cream has a rich texture compared to the Lotion and is great for people with skin that’s prone to dryness and itchiness. The Biome Balancing Lotion is a lightweight moisturizer that’s well-suited for people with combination skin, oily skin, or facial redness, or for people who prefer a lighter weight product. Both the Biome Balancing Cream and the Biome Balancing Lotion are minimally formulated and contain Gladskin’s proprietary enzyme Micreobalance®, which helps restore balance to the skin microbiome.

Yes, the Biome Balancing Cream is specifically formulated for sensitive skin. It is safe to use as a face cream or eye cream, as well as on other sensitive areas on the body. As with any skincare product, it’s always a good idea to do a patch test or consult with your primary care provider or dermatologist if you have specific skin concerns.

Many people experience relief within a few days of using Gladskin Biome Balancing Cream, but for some it can take up to 3 weeks of consistent use to see a difference. We'd recommend using the biome cream daily as a proactive skin barrier maintenance product. Any discomfort should be mild and is usually an indication that Gladskin is beginning to work. This should improve within 10 days, often much sooner. That said, you know your skin best. If you’re concerned your reaction is possibly allergy-related, we recommend checking in with your doctor or dermatologist. 

The Biome Balancing Gel has not been tested in children. Talk to your child’s pediatrician or pediatric dermatologist before use. 

Many people use multiple products for their skin. If you or your child is using multiple topicals, we recommend starting with Gladskin Biome Balancing Cream and waiting 5 minutes before applying other products.
