Categories of consumer health data collected

Gladskin sells personal care products. Gladskin collects personal preferences including product preferences, online preferences, and interests. It is possible to make inferences about our website visitors and customers based on their browsing and purchasing history on our website. We may learn about our website visitors’ and customers’ health if they take our quiz, which helps us recommend products based on the quiz-taker’s conditions. We may learn health-related information if it is offered to us voluntarily when a user contacts us via email, phone or chat. We learn about health-related preferences based on online behavioral advertising collected with tracking technologies. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information about our use of tracking technologies.

How we use the consumer health data

We use the health data we collect to recommend products that would be of interest to you and to deliver advertising that may be more meaningful to you based on your interests or consistent with browsing and purchasing history.

We may use the data on an anonymized and de-identified basis for legitimate business purposes, including for analysis, scholarship, monetization, research and development.

With whom we share the consumer health data

We may share or disclose your personal information as follows:

  • Our affiliates. In order to provide our services to you, we may share information with our affiliates, including our parent company, METCH.

  • Using Chat Features. Our website utilizes a chat feature to provide customer support. Use of the chat feature is completely voluntary. Chat sessions are recorded and used by both us and our chat service provider.  We may now or in the future provide customer support via chatbox or email that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) to understand customer questions and automate responses to them, simulating human conversation. If you do not consent to these terms, please do not use the chat feature and contact us via email.
