What is the difference between the Barrier Restore Cream and Gladskin’s Eczema Cream with Micreobalance®?
Gladskin Eczema Cream contains our patented endolysin Micreobalance® and restores balance to your skin microbiome. The Barrier Restore Cream does not contain Micreobalance® and is designed to provide intensive moisturization to dry skin. For best results, use our Micreobalance®-containing Eczema Cream 1-2 times daily and moisturize dry skin with the Barrier Restore Cream.
Will the Barrier Restore Cream balance my skin microbiome?
The Barrier Restore Cream is microbiome-friendly and designed to moisturize dry skin and boost your skin barrier. It does not contain Micreobalance®, our patented enzyme that restores balance to the skin microbiome. If you’re looking for a biome-balancing product, check out our Eczema Cream, Eczemact™ Soothing Cream for Babies and Kids, or Redness Relief Cream.
Is the Barrier Restore Cream recommended for people with eczema?
Gladskin Barrier Restore Cream is recommended as an ultra-occlusive skin barrier moisturizer for people with dry, dehydrated skin. We recommend using the Barrier Restore Cream in addition to our Eczema Cream with Micreobalance® or our Eczemact™ Soothing Cream for Babies & Kids with Micreobalance®.
Is it safe to put the cream on eczema flare-ups?
Yes, it is safe to put the cream on anywhere externally, including on dry, itchy areas. Creams are moisturizers, which means they can increase comfort and help with dryness, but they’re not an eczema treatment. It’s also important to find a specific eczema cream with ingredients that won’t irritate your skin. Our Barrier Restore Cream is minimally formulated and provides intensive moisturization to dry skin.
Does the Barrier Restore Cream contain active ingredients?
The Barrier Restore Cream does not contain active ingredients. Use alongside our Eczema Cream or Soothing Cream for Babies and Kids, which both contain Micreobalance®, for best results.
