What is the difference between the Body Lotion and Gladskin’s Eczema Cream with Micreobalance®?
Gladskin Eczema Cream contains our patented endolysin Micreobalance® and restores balance to your skin microbiome. The Body Lotion does not contain Micreobalance® and is designed to provide long-lasting hydration to dry skin. For best results, use our Micreobalance®-containing Eczema Cream 1-2 times daily and supplement with the Body Lotion to maintain skin hydration.
Will the Body Lotion balance my skin microbiome?
The Body Lotion is microbiome-friendly and designed to moisturize and hydrate dry skin. It does not contain Micreobalance®, Gladskin’s patented enzyme that restores balance to the skin microbiome. Is the Body Lotion recommended for people with eczema?
Gladskin Body Lotion is recommended as a daily moisturizer for people with all skin types, including dry skin associated with eczema-prone skin. We suggest using the Body Lotion throughout the day to maintain skin hydration. We also recommend using the Body Lotion in addition to our Eczema Cream with Micreobalance® or our Eczemact™ Soothing Cream for Babies & Kids with Micreobalance®.
Is it safe to put lotion on eczema flare-ups?
Yes, it is safe to put lotion on anywhere externally, including on dry, itchy areas. Lotions can increase comfort and help with dryness, but they’re not an eczema treatment. It’s also important to find a specific eczema lotion with ingredients that won’t irritate your skin. Our Body Lotion is minimally formulated and provides long-lasting hydration to dry skin associated with eczema-prone skin.
Does the Body Lotion contain active ingredients?
The Body Lotion does not contain active ingredients. Use alongside our Eczema Cream with Micreobalance® or Eczemact™ Soothing Cream for Babies & Kids with Micreobalance® for best results.
Will the alcohols in the Body Lotion dry out my skin?
The alcohols in the Body Lotion are fatty alcohols, which means they won’t dry out your skin. Fatty alcohols are emollient ingredients that help restore the skin barrier, making them nourishing for dry skin. They also act as emulsifiers, helping water and oil mix.
When can I expect to see results?
You can expect to see more hydrated skin immediately after applying the lotion. For best results, pair the Body Lotion with our Eczema Cream with Micreobalance®, which is clinically proven to reduce eczema symptoms.
